Troubleshooting the App

Viewfinder is dark when attaching a Moment Lens

This is happening because you are covering up the currently used iPhone lens with the Moment Lens. In the Moment app, tap the 1X/2X button, located in the lower-right corner of the viewfinder. This will switch over to the other iPhone lens, where you have the Moment lens attached over, which should fix the viewfinder appearing dark.

Why can't I connect my Photo Case to the app?

If you're using our Photo Case it actually does not have any electrical components and therefore doesn't connect to the App. The case connection is a feature available with our Original Photo Case and Battery Photo Case.

Why can’t I find RAW in the photo format options?

RAW is not supported on the iPhone 5S, 6, or 6 Plus. RAW requires iPhone SE or newer (6S, 7, 8, X, XR, XS).

How do I reset values set with the adjustment controls?

To reset all of the values, simply double-tap on the viewfinder. To reset a single adjustment control value, double-tap on the control’s button. See Adjustment Control FAQ.

Why are 3 photos getting taken after a red ring loads around the shutter button?

You have a timer set. To disable the timer, toggle the middle button in the top toolbar. It switches between 3 seconds, 10 seconds, and off.
