Working with Osmo and Pro Camera
There are two controls on the Osmo that can be used to take advantage of various functions in Pro Camera: the shutter button and the zoom slider.
Shutter button
Frame up your shots and tap the Osmo’s shutter button to begin a capture in any shooting mode.
Zoom slider
The zoom slider is used to make manual adjustments to and to switch between shooting modes.
Manual controls with the zoom slider
While in photo or video mode, tap or hold the zoom slider in either direction to adjust a manual control (Exposure, by default). These adjustments can be made before or during capture.
You can change which manual control the zoom slider adjusts by tapping the Gimbal toolbar button, then Osmo settings (or by going to the Pro Camera's settings menu > Bluetooth Devices > Osmo settings). From this menu, select which of the manual controls you want the zoom slider to control.
While in Slow Shutter mode, tap the zoom slider in either direction to change the capture duration.
Changing iPhone lenses with the zoom slider
The zoom slider can also be used to change which iPhone lens is currently in use.
Double tap the zoom slider in either direction to cycle between the lenses on your device. A lens indicator will appear in the viewfinder reflecting the change between lenses.
